Dr. Lauren Black
Dr. Lauren Black is a New England native, born and raised in southern New Hampshire. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Arts at the University of New Hampshire and her DMD at University of New England in Portland, ME. After graduating dental school, Dr. Black worked in public health, serving the community on Cape Cod.
Dr. Black feels strongly about providing comprehensive, quality dental care and educating patients on the importance of oral health. She knows dentistry is not one-size-fits-all and puts emphasis on working together with her patients to create individualized treatment plans. Her mission is to provide a dental home to her patients that feels safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
She and her husband stumbled upon Plymouth during a stroke of serendipity and fell in love with the town. They have enjoyed discovering all the south shore has to offer, particularly the local restaurants, coffee shops, and bookstores.
Dr. Black is looking forward to being part of this lively community and is excited to serve the people of Plymouth. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and serves on the Executive Board for the South Shore District.
When not in the office, she and her husband love travelling and exploring new cities together.
